What we are building toward
Your choice of model
The whole point. Zubnet already serves hundreds of models from many providers. A speaker on top of that is a speaker whose voice, personality and cost are yours to set, not the manufacturer's.
Conversations that stay yours
Privacy is a default, not a setting. Zubnet does not sell customer data and does not train on it. A speaker in your kitchen should hold to the same line.
Answers that can be checked
Grounding over guessing. We run our own retrieval stack for the products we already ship, and a home device is where a confident wrong answer costs the most.
Open where it matters
No walled garden by reflex. If you can reach it with an API today, we would rather it work with the speaker than not.
What this page is. Zpeaker is a project in the design stage at Zubnet. There is no hardware to buy, no price, no release date, and no preorder. Everything above describes the direction we are building toward, not features that exist today.
We are publishing it early on purpose. The big platforms are announcing their own speakers now, and we would rather say plainly what we think a good one looks like than wait until we can show a box.
